Medical Assistant Location: Seattle, WA Agency: Pride Health Pay: $25 to $29 per hour Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Now Hiring: Medical Assistant Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 2 Months Contract Potential of Extension or Conversion to Permanent Location: Seattle, WA 98107 Scheduled: 4 days per week, 40 Hours in week Shift: Day shift, 7:00 am-5:30 pm Hourly Compensation: $25.00 - $29.00 on W2 Responsibilities: Room patients, obtain vitals, document medical history, and prepare charts. Assist providers with exams, procedures, immunizations, and point-of-care testing. Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and basic lab processing. Manage patient flow to ensure timely appointments and smooth clinic operations. Handle prescription refills, prior authorizations, and follow-up calls as directed. Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure equipment is sanitized and ready. Accurately enter information into EMR systems and update patient records. Schedule appointments, verify insurance, and support front-desk administrative tasks. Provide patient education on discharge instructions, medication use, and follow-up care. Follow infection control protocols, safety procedures, and clinical practice standards. Required Qualification: Medical Assistant Certificate from WA State.
