Job Details As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the tax compliance and reporting activities for our organization. The successful candidate must have a strong background in CPA, Tax Accounting, Senior Tax Accounting, GAAP, ProSystems Tax, rpSuste, CCH, Public Accounting, and Finance. If you have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities: Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for the organization Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations Assist in tax planning and forecasting activities Review tax provisions and accruals for accuracy Conduct research on tax issues and provide guidance to the organization Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting Assist with audits and respond to tax inquiries from regulatory agencies Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA certification is required 2 years of experience in Tax Accounting for a Public Accounting Firm Experience with international tax is preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax laws and regulations Experience with ProSystems Tax, rpSuste, and CCH preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the Mortgage industry and have a passion for tax accounting, we want to hear from you.
