backwards? If so, the Amazon Grocery Supply Chain Finance team is
looking for an experienced leader with a record of achieving
results. The team seeks a Finance Manager to partner with our
Supply Chain business partners on operational performance,
financial analysis, long term strategy and execution. Experience in
this team opens up several career opportunities across Amazon. The
successful candidate will have passion for data and analytics, be a
self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, and an ability to work in
a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Excellent verbal and
written communication skills are also critical in this role. Key
job responsibilities - Identifies basic control risks, evaluates
impact, proposes changes, and implements improvements to remediate
gaps. - Delivers weekly/monthly financial close. Uses financial
systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data
sets. Outputs plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations. -
Works with a variety of data sources. Identifies incomplete or
inaccurate data, identifies root causes of data issues, escalates
discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a
solution. - Uses active listening skills intuitively to communicate
data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous
manner. Adjusts style for various audiences to articulate complex
finance issues clearly. - Identifies and implements solutions to
resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance
processes. - Makes thoughtful time management decisions
independently. Prioritizes work, resolves issues, meets deadlines,
and seeks feedback from your manager. Discerns between urgent and
non-urgent issues and acts accordingly to solve them. About the
team The Grocery Supply Chain team owns the unique operational
capabilities required to support Perishable selection across
banners including Whole Foods Market and SubSameDay Grocery. Our
Finance teams partner closely with our operations teams to
influence the strategic direction of the business, drive operations
excellence, and make sound investment and expansion decisions, with
the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience
while driving long-term profitability for our Grocery businesses.
Our teams experiment, fail fast, learn, and scale rapidly, and we
have a culture of data-driven decision-making. - 5 years of tax,
finance or a related analytical field experience - 5 years of
multiple finance and accounting roles experience - 6 years of
Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience - 6 years of
applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
experience - 6 years of building financial and operational
reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience -
6 years of creating process improvements with automation and
analysis experience - 6 years of participating in continuous
improvement projects in your team to scale and improve
controllership with measurable results experience - Bachelor's
degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree
and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering, process
re-engineering, quality assurance) experience - 6 years of
identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root
cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience - 6
years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate
and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that
have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings,
operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience - MBA,
or CPA - Knowledge of SQL/ETL - Experience working with large-scale
data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase,
Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson,
JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and
variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Amazon is an

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
