Associate Software Test Engineer to support our P-8 Mission Systems
Software team located in Kent, Washington. This position will focus
on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space and Security Services (BDS)
Software Engineering organization. In this position, you will be
responsible for test and verification of the Mission Systems
software, supporting software and system level integration and
testing in labs. Expertise in Weapons integration, Sensors
integration, Tactical Data Links, Operator Machine Interface (OMI)
is desired. You’ll be an integral part of supporting the Boeing
Defense, Space and Security (BDS) P-8 Poseidon program, which is
the premier Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) platform for the US Navy
and several international partners. Upcoming contract awards have
enabled team expansion and growth. This franchise program is
anticipated to continue to be a stable program for the foreseeable
future. We are seeking an early career engineer that is passionate
about aerospace and excited to work in a multi-disciplined,
collaborative engineering environment that supports the design,
development, and implementation of software for existing and
emerging government and international programs. This exciting
position requires demonstrated experience as a Software Test
Engineer, knowledge of the full software development life cycle
(requirements, design, code, test), and the clear exhibition of
superior judgment and decision making to engineer new solutions and
support existing capabilities for multiple programs and customers.
Demonstrated critical thinking and troubleshooting skills are
required. Position Responsibilities: - Supports the design,
development, and completion of test and verification of software
products to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality. -
Participates in partnering with stakeholders to review and identify
software requirements, test objectives, test strategies, and
testability. - Supports designing test plans, cases, and scenarios
to meet software requirements and specifications. - Contributes to
the set up and configuration of test environments, including
hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate
production environments. - Supports executing test cases and
scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of
software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and
potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes. -
Contributes to providing test results and feedback on software
design and functionality to resolve defects, issues, and potential
vulnerabilities. - Supports creating, documenting, and maintaining
test plans, procedures, cases, artifacts, metrics, and data in
accordance with data privacy and security protocols and standards.
- Supports developing and maintaining automated test scripts and
frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing
processes. - Contributes to software project management functions
across test and verification activities involving multifunctional
teams. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): -
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in
engineering, engineering technology, mathematics, data science, or
computer science with 1 or more years of engineering work
experience. - US Citizenship required - Ability to obtain a Secret
U.S. Security Clearance - Test and Integration experience - Lab

considerations. Summary Pay Range: $90,950 - $123,050 Applications
