that support Expedia Group, including Employee Communications,
Finance, Legal, People Team, Inclusion and Diversity, and Global
Social Impact and Sustainability.The Vice President, Corporate
Procurement leads the global procurement team responsible for
managing, developing and executing a comprehensive procurement
strategy and managing the strategic sourcing and purchasing
operations of Expedia Group. As the global leader, you will
constantly implement target setting and drive Procurement value
contribution whilst ensuring compliance with policies, strategies
and processes.In this role, you will:
- Define the Expedia Group procurement vision and execute the
strategy against a short-range and long-range plan, while
instilling best practices to support business growth.
- Drive improvements to current procurement processes and
policies, implement an integrated best-in-class procure-to-pay
system and processes.
- Lead on procurement performance efficiency, capability and
capacity optimization. Simplify planning by understanding Expedia
Group's spending to create more accurate forecasts and collaborate
with suppliers to streamline essential processes, reduce waste, and
optimize future spending.
- Support key Sourcing Initiatives and management of core
suppliers. Develop negotiation strategies in collaboration with
business leaders. Conduct supplier negotiations and ensure
execution of developed strategy.
- Continuously review our governance framework, and establish
relationship management best practices and performance scorecards,
and clearly articulate governance processes around procurement
engagement timing and channels.
- Continuously partner with the Legal team to review and enhance
master service agreement templates and preferred terms and
conditions for supplier contracts.
- Engage and build robust relationships with senior leaders
across Expedia Group to understand business and procurement needs
and opportunities to collaborate. Identify success metrics and
develop regular reporting for the Leadership team and business
stakeholders.
- Coach, develop and lead a global team of experienced
procurement professionals, providing mentorship, feedback and
direction.Experience and qualifications:
- Global procurement functional leadership experience in a
large-scale, multinational organization.
- Deep understanding of the indirect procurement operating model
and understanding of Total Cost of Ownership, Risk Management and
Savings/Benefit monitoring etc.
- Knowledge of best-in-class strategic sourcing & category
management practices, systems and tools, with depth in Technology
and Marketing categories highly preferred.
- Supplier management leadership i.e. RFP drafting, negotiations,
issue resolution and stakeholder management best practice.
- Data-driven: leverage data to identify gaps, you think
holistically and strategically, considering the interconnectedness
of various factors.
- Proven situational leadership skills with the ability to
motivate and generate enthusiasm with individuals across all levels
of the organization.
- Large scale program management ability to drive solutions
across a global organization with multiple functional
stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related technical field; or
Equivalent related professional experienceThe total cash range for
this position in Seattle, Austin & West Hollywood is $296,000 to
$415,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase
their pay up to $474,000, which is the top of the range, based on
ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the
