Patient ratio experience of 1:1 - Experience with charting systems,
preferably Epic Description: This position involves working in a
high-risk labor and delivery unit. The RN will care for
childbearing women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum,
postpartum, and newborn stages. Patients in this unit are primarily
complex high-risk cases. The facility handles approximately 150
births per month. Two operating rooms are available for C-sections
and other procedures. The RN will assist with both vaginal and
cesarean deliveries. The role includes performing assessments,
monitoring fetal heart rates, and administering medications.
Additional responsibilities involve newborn assessments and support
for breastfeeding. The RN will collaborate with an
interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care. The preferred
candidate will have experience in a Level 3 Perinatal center.
Candidates should be comfortable floating within the hospital as
needed. Weekends are required, with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 2 on
weekend shifts. Open to local candidates and those with pending
licenses. Outstanding patient care and communication skills are
