This role offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, covering emergency and outpatient orthopedic cases with the support of dedicated staff and state-of-the-art facilities. Required Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in Level II trauma orthopedic surgery Proficiency in the full spectrum of orthopedic procedures, excluding complex pelvic cases Ability to independently handle a diverse caseload, from ER trauma to outpatient clinics Strong knowledge of EPIC EMR system Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care Nice to Have Skills Trauma experience without fellowship training is acceptable, provided credentialing within our system can be achieved Additional certification in orthopedic trauma or emergency procedures is a plus Prior experience working in hospital and outpatient clinic settings Preferred Education and Experience Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Valid WA medical license and ACLS/BLS certifications At least 5 years of orthopedic trauma or emergency orthopedic surgery experience in a Level II trauma setting Other Requirements Willingness to start as soon as credentialing is complete, approximately within 60-90 days Coverage needed for up to 2 weeks per month, with scheduling based on internal provider's off days Ability to work 24/7 ER coverage with dedicated PA support and outpatient clinic three mornings weekly (schedule tentative) Availability for travel and lodging arrangements as needed Enjoy an excellent compensation package, including an hourly rate of $425-450, with additional benefits such as comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, robust referral bonuses, and reimbursements for licensure, travel, and certifications.
