The credentialing process requires approximately 2 months with expedited options available. The hospital maintains appropriate staffing levels with nursing support during all operational hours. About the Facility Location The Olympic Peninsula region offers diverse year-round attractions including opportunities to visit natural landmarks and explore Olympic National Park through guided tours. The area features numerous natural attractions such as the Columbia River, Lake Washington, and Whidbey Island with seasonal activities including spring cherry blossom viewing at local universities. Small group tours provide access to national park areas while the peninsula offers various seasonal recreational opportunities suitable for visitors throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will provide family medicine services in an outpatient clinic setting with no call requirements. The schedule includes Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with flexible timing arrangements. Daily responsibilities encompass conducting 1-2 comprehensive history and physical examinations and managing 4-6 acute care patients. Board certification requirements are negotiable, and the position requires maintaining prescriptive authority along with BLS certification, DEA registration, and Washington state licensure.
