NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Tacoma, Washington. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Hours would be 1245-2315 Tuesday-Friday Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year with strong OR experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with strong OR experience Required License, National Certification Certs: BLS 2 OR openings- 1 at 4x10 and 1 5x8- both evenings/nights Will accept travel pairs! General Unit Information: 20 OR Rooms, 4 CVOR (10 CABG and 3 TAVR per week) 1 hybrid, Endo/Vascular 12 Main General: General, Neuro, Ortho, Peds, ENT, trauma, Urology 3 Outpatient: Women, Minor ortho (fingers/toes) 2 Outpatient Peds: ENT and Dental (Closed for renovations) Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: CVOR: CABG, TAVR, VAT, Open thoracotomy, Valve repairs, Vascular surgeries (AV fistulas), fem pop bypass, AAA repair (open and endoscopic) All CVOR RNs/ORTs are expected to float to General Surgery General: Neuro (EVD placement, shunts), Ortho (total joints, ORIF), Trauma (GSW, MVA), Emergency General (appys, torsions), GYN, GI, GU
