This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and spans a 90-day assignment, offering ongoing coverage up to two weeks per month with ER 24/7 shifts and dedicated PA support, plus three outpatient clinic mornings weekly. Job Details Location: Washington Start Date: Feb 2, 2026 LOA: 90 days Provider Type Needed: Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Schedule: Up to 2 weeks per month covering ER 24/7 with dedicated PA support; 3 outpatient clinic mornings per week (Monday–Friday, exact days not confirmed); assignment duration 6–9 months Responsibilities and Duties Manage a full spectrum of orthopedic trauma cases, excluding complex pelvic cases Provide ER coverage with dedicated physician assistant support Conduct outpatient clinic sessions three mornings per week Deliver high-quality patient care in both acute and ambulatory orthopedic settings Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and support staff Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards Additional Information Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required Fellowship training in orthopedic trauma surgery required Active Washington license highly preferred, or IMLC with LOQ in hand Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA required (will consider candidates obtaining upon offer) Clean malpractice history highly preferred Availability at time of name clear required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
