Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Puyallup, WA Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,905 to $2,099 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title Registered Nurse - PCU City/State: Puyallup, Washington Shift: 12H Nights, 19:00-07:00 Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 04/06/2026 Job Description: Registered Nurse needed for PCU unit responsible for patient care in a hospital setting, including flexible floating duties mainly supporting ED holding unit and other specific unit float pool teams. Responsibilities: Care for patients with respiratory compromise, sepsis, renal failure, bleeding disorders, general medical/surgical conditions, CHF, COPD, pneumonia, and orthopedic cases. Assist in ACLS patient transports and provide support in ED Holds Area during night shifts. Maintain flexibility and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required. 2 years of PCU or ICU experience. Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, lumbar drains, trach management, and IV medication titration. Strong communication and patient education skills.
