Job Description:
Jackson Health Professionals is thrilled to offer an opportunity
for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join a dynamic team
within the educational sector. This role focuses on enhancing the
communicative abilities of students, supporting their educational
outcomes, and fostering their communicative competence. Serving as
a key member of our educational support team, the SLP will work
closely with school staff and parents to tailor intervention
strategies that are evidence-based and culturally sensitive. Assess
students' speech, language, and communication abilities. Develop
and implement personalized treatment plans. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other school staff to support each student’s
educational goals. Maintain accurate records of students' progress.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on communicative
disorders. Conduct group and one-on-one sessions according to
student’s educational needs. Strong understanding of speech
disorders and treatments. Ability to develop and adapt teaching
materials for varied student needs. Excellent communication skills
for interacting with students, parents, and staff. Proficiency in
using technological tools and resources for speech therapy. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state
license in Speech-Language Pathology. ASHA Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
