• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure piece parts and products meet drawing requirements
• Utilizing work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect data -
• Completing first article inspections (FAIs)
• Checking parts on a surface plate using manual approaches with measuring equipment
• Operating CMM, optical comparator and vision systems to ensure compliance with programs providedBasic Qualifications:
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years postSecondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. -Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Ability to create CMM programs using CAMIO software -
    • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Intermediate to expert understanding of GD&T. -
    • Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and the like. -
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of operating and/or programming a CMM and vision systems.
    • Experience in dimensional inspection and quality control.
    • Experience as, or working closely with machinists to ensure parts are made to print. -
    • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. -
    • Strong problem-solving and ability to create manual approaches to measuring. -
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. - -In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Washington State, the salary range for this role is $24.51 - $45.43. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
