you!General Job DescriptionDogwood Industries is seeking a skilled
and detail-oriented Master Planner Scheduler to lead the
development and execution of company-wide project and production
schedules. This is a critical role responsible for coordinating
master scheduling, capacity planning, and production prioritization
across two manufacturing facilities. Given Dogwood's
engineer-to-order environment and construction-style workflows, the
ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in dynamic,
fast-paced conditions. The Master Planner Scheduler will work
cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Procurement,
Production, and Project Management teams to align resources with
demand and ensure on-time delivery. This role will also drive the
use of the system scheduling module to enhance planning visibility
and coordination that is essential to Dogwood's ongoing growth and
success.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a master
schedule for all Dogwood projects, incorporating elements typical
of construction sequencing (e.g., design through fabrication)Manage
project-level schedules that integrate timelines from Engineering,
Procurement, and Production, adjusting dynamically as scope or
conditions evolveLead capacity planning efforts across labor,
material, and equipment to identify and address constraintsWork
closely with Project Managers to validate customer requirements,
lead times, and delivery datesCoordinate with Modeling/Detailing
and Procurement to ensure drawings and materials are released in
alignment with schedule requirementsOwn the system scheduling
module implementation and continuous usage improvementCollaborate
with Production Managers at Sedro-Woolley and Everett factories to
align daily/weekly priorities and help facilitate bottleneck
resolutionAnalyze actual vs. planned performance to identify
variances and drive corrective actionsConduct scenario planning and
schedule simulations to support leadership
decision-makingCommunicate schedule status, risks, and changes to
stakeholders with clarity and urgencyFacilitate cross-departmental
planning meetings to ensure alignment on project priorities, task
handoffs, and scheduling implicationsHelp institutionalize formal
project kickoffs and production gating processesOther duties as
assignedRequirements:Requirements5+ years of experience in
production planning, master scheduling, or project scheduling roles
in construction, modular fabrication, or project-based
manufacturingStrong understanding of capacity planning, resource
allocation, and coordination of multi-trade/departmental
workflowsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or
Primavera, with demonstrated ability to build, manage, and analyze
project schedulesDemonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple
departments and facilitiesProficiency in Gantt charting, schedule
simulation, and scenario planningStrong analytical and
problem-solving skills with attention to detailExcellent
communication and collaboration skillsAbility to translate complex
schedules into clear, actionable plans for cross-functional
teamsExperience implementing new planning systems or scheduling
modules is a plusExperience working in an ERP/MRP system is a
plusPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position requires
light physical activity in an office environment. To perform the
essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated
at a computer desk with the option to stand, is utilizing a phone
frequently and participating in meetings with colleagues. There are
steps in the office.Compensation$90,000 - $120,000 annually,
